We made it to Singapore on Monday evening. Went throught customs/immigration in about 10 mins and were at our hostel within the hour.

Little India / Ver busy and hectic. Lots of traffic and very hot. First night pretty exhausted so went on a mission to find water and then hit the sack.

Our first day we spent walking and walking around the city to Raffles, Orchard Rd, The harbour front, and Little India. Trying to adjust to the heat but it was too tempting to ride the air conditioned metro! Eating lots of cheapish Asian food...yum.

Next day decided to do the zoo and night safari in one go seeing as they are an hour out of the city. Not sure if it was the best idea.. exhausted by the end of it but a fun day and Chris even got to add to jhis turtle collection!

On our last day we got up early to head to Sentosa Island but our plans were interrupted by lots and lots of rain. Very refreshing. While we waited for it to stop we went on a mission through many mnay malls on Orchard rd wishing we were rich / or I was. Too early in our trip for shopping!
Sentosa was pretty nice but expensive so we just wandered around. then a bit of excitement when I lost my jandal and had to climb in the fountain thng in front of everyone to get it out!

Headed to the airport after a long day at around pm, checked in, then went to the FREE cinema to watch a movie. Very cool airport. no time or $ for a swim though dammit.

On the plane to head for our next stop ROMA.
